Dinner time

You absolutely love dinner time, You were easy to wean and I'm still yet to find a food you dislike.

Were trying to get Archie used to the idea of holding a cup by introducing handles for his small bottles. He's got the idea right but just doesn't realise he needs to tip it but hey he enjoys it all the same.

Connor and Archie

Connor loves his little brother and Archie loves him too, he always has big smiles and is pleased to see him when he comes home from school.

cute pics

Archie loves his lulla (as we call it) he likes to rub it against his cheek when he's going off to sleep, although he's too busy trying to watch the tv here to think about sleep yet.

Nap time

It's not unusual to find Archie upside down in his cot after a nap, he cant stay still for 2 seconds.
We laugh because we know when your awake due the thudding noises echoing around the house from you kicking the bars of your cot. When we look in on you we are always greeted with a huge, excitable smile.

Weaning

I started weaning Archie at 4 months, he wasn't going to wait until 6 months, I discussed it with the health visitor and she said if you feel he's ready then go ahead.

Well....... He took to solids like a duck to water. we started with banana baby cereal and stuck with just a couple of mouthfuls of this for a few days.

Once he had got the hang of eating from a spoon I cooked a variety of fruit and vegetables , blended them and froze in ice cube trays. I spent a couple of days doing it and at the end I had 3 months worth of food in the freezer.

He was happy to eat each flavor on it's own but also enjoyed them mixed. His favorite seems to be parsnip, butternut squash and broccoli and you love blended apple and pear but he hasn't refused any of the others yet.

We all know this feeling, that good book you just cant put down and you end up falling asleep while reading.

With your big cousins Andrew, William and Rebecca.

My little yorkie bar ( sweet and chunky )

Playing

Archie can appreciate his play gym a lot more now and he loves it especially now that he can reach and grab hold of the toys.

I love watching you when you notice your reflexion, you stare at yourself babbling and then laugh at whatever you have just said.

Cute pics

With big brother Connor.
Connor has always been very grown up and sensible for his age, at 13 he loves hanging out with his mates, playing on the wii etc or chatting on-line to his mates but he still finds the time for his baby brother Archie. He's very gentle and affectionate with him giving him kisses and cuddles and taking care of him, he seems to have a great instinct with him.

How cute.
Thanks for the cute bath robe Auntie Nik. xx

A day out at Henley-on-Thames

We spent the day at Henley, it was a beautiful day, ideal temperature, we took a big fishing umbrella and set up under a big tree so we stayed shaded.

Just look at Tom's face, he absolutely loves being a Daddy.
He's a great Dad, very hands on doing night feeds, nappy changes and performing to make you giggle. We laugh at the idea of what people would think if they could see us sometimes jumping around, singing and dancing and basically making complete fools of ourselves. You love it.

Again, Archie was as good as gold the whole time we were out.

Discovering your hands

Cute pics

As you can see Archie soon made up for being so tiny at birth, he's now an ideal weight for his age.

If only i had a microphone right now.

Almost 2 months old now

Archie is such a happy, content baby, he's still sleeping well (10 hours at night now) from 9pm to 7am, takes 3 naps during the day and the rest of the time he's smiley and happy.

With Connor at a friends 1st Birthday party

Bath time. I think he's still a little unsure, he neither loves it or hates it.

I'm sure your learn to love the bath as you get older, when your sitting up and can play with toys and realise how fun it is to soak Mummy and Daddy with splashes.
